Do I need an account for the free tier?

No. The free tier uses a demo API key that works immediately with no sign-up. Create a named key on the API Keys page if you want to track your own usage.

What counts as an API request?

Each call to /api/v1/reports, /api/v1/eudr/assess, or any data endpoint counts as one request. Fetching the homepage, map tiles, or methodology page does not count.

Can I use OFW data in a published paper?

Yes, on all tiers. Cite as: HGE Open Forest Watch (year). Event ID [data report]. Northflow Technologies. Use the BibTeX export on any report page for a ready-made citation.

Is EUDR certificate generation always free?

Interactive EUDR assessment on forestwatch.northflow.no is always free. Programmatic EUDR API access at scale (batch processing) requires a Research or Institutional plan.

Do you offer discounts for NGOs or academic institutions?

Yes — registered NGOs and accredited academic institutions get 50% off Research and Institutional plans. Email ofw@northflow.no with your organisation details.

What payment methods do you accept?
